Each website has the capabilities for an online appointment system that stands along side a traditional system, and a prescription ordering service. The practice can create practice leaflets and self-help information that the practice can print out and hand to patients in the surgery or patients can print out themselves at home.
Each individual website can be run independently from the main portal. It can contain any information the practice wish to put on there, yet it will also contain any articles or links that the practice wish to use form the main surgeries online portal.
Each website can be one to fifty plus pages, as large or small as the practice requires and can be updated, changed, and added to at any time, add or remove staff members, changing opening times, contribute to notice boards or forums, offer advice, send out emails to patients and have their details to hand.
Once the website is set up whoever is responsible for it will be able to log on to the practice management pages each day and check any emails that have been sent or any new patients that have registered. It will also tell you how many online appointments have been booked and who they are so they can confirm appointments.
Sounds too good to be true…that’s why it took three years to get it right.
